I’m not quite sure how I feel about the “Safer at Home” order in Los Angeles (and probably soon for all cities in LA County), as I am a homebody by nature. I’m also someone who hates to have her options limited. It’s like when my car is in the shop. I may not have needed to go anywhere while I don’t have it, but the fact that I CAN’T is what troubles me. It is strange times to be sure.
Because I can’t do anything productive or useful beyond staying home and stitching something beautiful, I thought it might be nice to offer some patterns for free for anybody in a similar situation. I’m re-establishing the links to Sycamore Rose. They’ve been updated some. I sent the actual quilt out for pictures about a month ago and do not have them back yet, so I’ll just post the drawings alongside each pattern for now.
Basic fabric requirements:
Background – 4 yds (generous to allow for cutting errors)
Pink Fabric – 2.75 yds (generous to allow for cutting errors)
Brown Fabric – 3.5 yds (generous to allow for cutting errors)
Applique – Scraps from your stash. Fat quarters are recommended, especially for leaves and stems.
